Q. Lydia, what makes you love reading and connecting to spirit? A. I am compelled to do it. I feel that I was meant to share a message with the people who come to me for a reading. That and I feel that I was a reader and a medum in my past life.  Q. What do you like to do outside of reading? A. I have a tremendous love of horses and hope to own and board a horse one day.

When Lydia was ten years old her parents sent her to Prague to visit relatives. She was bored so her aunt pulled out a deck that belonged to her great grandmother. She told Lydia the story of how her Great Grandmother read tarot cards when she traveled from Prague to Berlin to bring back her estranged husband. (She had 3 daughters in tow).

Lydia was fascinated by these cards completely and would spend hours and hours trying to learn them and use them. When she came back to Canada she searched for a deck, and it wasn't until she was 17 that she bought her own at the Occult shop. Her first deck was the Ryder Waite and she then set out to read for anyone and everyone who wanted their fortunes told.

Her mother was into Astrology and Lydia picked up an interest in that from her. She know writes a monthly Astrology column as well as manages a popular on-line psychic readings company.

While growing up Lydia also went on ghost hunting trips with her friends - checking out haunted houses and discovered she had a natural connection to spirits who wanted to talk to her. By her mid thirties, she started working at the Gypsy co-op reading for various clients from all walks of life -- from famous Lawyers to the average Jane and Joe.

At 3 of Cups Lydia uses a spectacular array of tools in her readings, provides 30-45 minute Sèances, and brings to you 25 reading years of experience.

Tarot

The Tarot is a collection of cards which contain an allegory / story of life milestones, mystical experience, archetypes, and more. Some Tarot decks have picture stories on all cards while others only have symbols similar to playing cards. In fact, many say that Tarot originates from games that used a playing deck. Tarot has it's physical origins and/or popularity in the Renaissance period (1400-1500's) and it re-emerged in popularity in the late 1800's and into the 1900's. Palmistry looks at your guests whole hand or hands -- palm, fingers, fingerprints, markings, etc.. When someone thinks of a Fortune Teller this is one of the tools that comes to mind of an old Gypsy lady reading the future. Often the first place a palm reader will go to speak of babies, marriage, life, health, and career is to the hand. However, as with every tool palmistry to speak of a guests character, personality, behaviour, love life, career, finances, etc.. in the past, present, and/or future. TOP

While we like to dress in costume to add flair, fun, and magic to your event, we are not actors and do deliver accurate and enjoyable readings to your guests. These pictures will give you an idea of how we look so you can get comfortable with us; however, our in-person energy tends to sparkle more with warmth, care, and happiness because it's often hard to see in a photo or video spot. And finally, although we can wear a number of different costumes, fabrics, and colours, we can dress quite conservatively as well.

Lydia will travel far given travel expenses are paid.
